A while ago, we announced the start of a very busy 2012 for Labyrinth Artist Alex Dolby. In that announcement, we revealed Alex Dolby’s forthcoming EP on Octopus Recordings together with Santos, called “Orange Wafer EP”. You can preview this EP in the promovideo that Octopus Recordings made:

“Overlords of the loop based, edgy house that has come to define a whole new school, Alex Dolby and Santos are genuine masters of the groove. They have consistently hooked us into their unending exploration of stripped down drums and body aching bass. We had been downright excited to have them onboard and when we heard the crazy catchiness of Orange Wafer on a big system, it sealed the deal. Another master busy setting up his own legacy is the now firmly established German studio wizard Gregor Tresher, one of those rare producers who’s tracks are instantly recognizable, his trademark sound is thundering staccato drums, rubbery synths and huge chords. Here he has busted out what we think is maybe his most peak time and techno remix to date. A clever mixture of elegant minimalism and that colossal builds, this is extra strength Tresher. So, all out action here at the Octopus stable as per usual and a high pleasure to welcome these three dons onboard.”

Keep an eye on Alex Dolby’s Beatport page as the release is due to be out today.

In the meanwhile, you can still listen to his older tracks:
